As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize that I’m not alone.\u00a0We all have racing thoughts sometimes, but we often are afraid to share them with others. At the height of my existentialism, my senior year of high school, my racing thoughts had become unmanageable. Thus, the Existential Crisis Club was born.<\/p>\n
Every Sunday, the ECC – three friends and I – would walk to the dinky Dunkin’ Donuts in Watertown, Connecticut, about a mile off-campus from our boarding school. There, we’d divulge our woes, existential or otherwise. I found these meetings, as well as this blog as a platform for self-expression, enormously helpful in easing my distress.<\/p>\n
Since those high school days, this blog remains near and dear to me as a way to continue to express myself, to question the meaning of it all, and more recently, to document my adventures around the world. Here, I can get some things off my chest, while perhaps you can find something to sympathize with, or at least something to make you chuckle. (Perhaps).<\/p>\n
